Status of the Class

In each session the teacher starts by quickly asking each writer what he/she will be doing in writing workshop for the day.  Having writers verbalize their plans not only helps the teacher keep track but also helps writers learn from each other.  Sample record keeping forms are provided in the Pathways Teacher Manual, Grades 3+
