NEXT NAD K-12 TEACHERS' CONVENTION TO BE HELD AUGUST 6-9, 2006
A list of things worth doing again would include a North American Division Teachers' Convention. The fist ever convention was convened at the Adams Mark Hotel and Convention Center, Dallas, Texas in August of 2002. The second is slated to be held at the Gaylord/Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, August 6-9, 2006. The Opryland Hotel, besides being a facility of unique design, offers boat rides on its indoor river, gardens to enjoy, waterfalls and dancing waters to watch, and Southern Hospitality that will make the NADOE 2006 convention a memorable experience.
Watch for further information including a contest for the Convention Theme and opportunities for you to possibly become one of the presenters.
At this time the plans include extending an invitation to Adventist educators who are employed outside of our own educational system. Be thinking of those that might qualify and would be interested in sharing this experience.
