A NEW SCHOOL FOR MALUTIMaluti Adventist Christian School (MACSEM) is vitally important to those who are working at Maluti Adventist Hospital in the mountain country of Lesotho in southern Africa. The school is severely overcrowded and will no longer serve the needs of the missionary families or the community. Adventist Education, working through Hope for Humanity, is supporting the construction of a new classroom and office block for MACSEM.
Adventist students and teachers from North America have joined together as partners with those in Lesotho and Southern Africa to raise the funds to build a new school at Maluti. Our goal for this project is $250,000, with the money to be raised during the 2008-2010 school years. By God’s grace, a new school will open at Maluti in late 2009 and will be completely paid for before the end of the 2010 school year.
