Description

Minnetonka Christian Academy is a K-12 school with approximately 130 students located in the metropolitan Twin City area. We are searching for an experienced educator to teach grades 1 & 2, for the 2010/2011 school year. MCA is very fortunate to have dedicated art, PE, and music teaching staff and don’t require those subjects be covered by our elementary teachers. We are seeking a spiritually motivated person of character, an exceptional educator who understands and maximizes the benefits of a multi-grade classroom, has the ability to enhance their students’ learning, enjoys being fully involved in the life of a very active school environment, and desires to interface with the church and the community. We work in a well-maintained physical plant that includes large outdoor play areas with nice playground equipment, a full size gym, cafeteria, and 12 classrooms. Minnetonka Christian Academy is currently a one-constituent church school. In addition to giving the school strong financial support, church members and the pastoral staff also support the school by attending programs, supporting school projects, volunteering in classrooms and the office, and regularly praying for the students and teachers.
