DescriptionTenure track faculty position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: A) Teaching: physical education teacher education, exercise science courses, lifetime fitness, activity courses, etc.; B) Scholarship: involvement in scholarly activities related to the discipline; C) Service: departmental, university committee memberships; advising students; and involvement and contribution to professional organizations. Qualified candidate must be a dynamic teacher with a passion for students.
ExperienceA MS in Physical Education or closely related field required; Ph.D. in Physical Education preferred. A minimum of 5 years teaching experience, with 3+ teaching in higher education preferred. Candidate must be committed to Seventh-day Adventist education and its values-systems. Candidate must also have a love of learning that is evidenced by ongoing scholarship. Candidate will be exposed to hot and cold temperatures at varying times of the year.
