DescriptionJellico SDA School is located in the rural mountains of northern TN, with an Adventist hospital located approximately three miles from the school and church. The local church strongly supports the school, and the constituents share a strong spiritual commitment to Adventist values and standards. There are approximately 20 students in grades 1-8, and as a partner campus with AAA distance learning, Jellico supports grades 9-10 on site through this program. The school has a strong academic program. The open position will require a teacher who embraces current researched teaching methods including embedded assessment and differentiated instruction in all classes. ExperienceMinimum: B.S. degree, current NAD Elementary certification with Jr Academy Math endorsement preferred. All applicants must be Seventh-day Adventists in good standing. Top quality applicants with current US residency are encouraged to apply. Salary and benefits are based on the denominational wage scale as set by policy.
