DescriptionPleasant Hill Adventist Academy, a K-12 day school, is located in the San Francisco Bay Area. PHAA has access to many great experiences - you can surf one day and snow ski the next with every activity and convenience in between. PHAA is close to Pacific Union College, which is an easy drive away providing excellent extended educational opportunities. At PHAA the Business Manager is one of the front office team members in marketing and service to our school family and community. People skills for dealing with Kindergarteners to adults are of key importance. The Business Manager's roles include working closely with the principal in budgeting and managing finances, which will include all of the fucntions of the school's finances and business including, but not limited to, the items which follow: School purchases and processing delivered items Managing student workers Timesheets/Payroll Budget/Finances Projects (i.e. taxes, auditing, table tennis club) Accounts Receivable Facilities Management Student Financial Worksheets Collections and Tuition Payment Plans Accounts Payable Security - Alarm Systems, Keys & Doors Copy Machines & contracts Additional roles as assigned
ExperiencePriority will be given to experienced Business Managers who have worked with Hunter Systems business software. Candidates need to be committed to and contribute personally to the spiritual focus of the school. The ideal candidate cares for all students and realizes that without positive personal relationships a quality environment cannot be created.
