DescriptionReporting to the Academic Dean and Department of Nursing Chair, duties include those listed in addition to assignments from the Academic Dean and Nursing Chair: didactic instruction for Introduction to Nursing, and Management and Professional Practice, including responsibility for assessment, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of all classroom experiences; coordination of program retention and remediation program; mentorship of new faculty; promotion and development of clinical relationships; participation in department and College governance; student advisement.
Experience•Minimum of Master of Science Degree in Nursing •Current California RN licensure (or immediate eligibility) •Minimum of three years applicable clinical experience as RN. •Minimum of one year teaching experience in a professional nursing program or courses that include practice in teaching nursing •Proven management, leadership, and mentoring skills
