DescriptionCanadian University College is inviting qualified individuals to submit a curriculum vitae for a position in the Department of Music. A doctoral degree in music is preferred, master’s degree may be considered if candidate has relevant experience and a willingness to pursue a doctoral degree. Responsibilities include instructing students, engaging in research and participating in the life of the institution. Classes as a part of the teaching load may include Instrumental Methods, Music Appreciation, Music History, Theory and Musicianship along with private instrument lessons.
ExperienceAbility to conduct a symphonic orchestra and other instrumental ensembles is required along with a willingness to plan, fund-raise and conduct annual tours along with smaller week-end tours throughout the year. Further information at: www.cauc.ca
