DescriptionAn elementary teacher is needed to fill a vacancy at the Chicago SDA Elementary School, located just 7 miles from downtown chicago. Chicago SDA Elementary school is a four-teacher school with a vibrant, spiritual educational program that serves students of varying learning abilities and styles. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with denominational and/or state certification, hold a BA degree in elementary education or education, and be able to teach and minister to students of various cultural backgrounds.
ExperienceTeaching experience in an SDA institution, in particular, elementary education is preferred, as well as familiarity with the Pathways Integrated Language Arts program. A willingness on the part of the candidate to continuously grow in his/her profession is desired.
