School Planting
(Posted April 1 2008)
Description: We are starting an exciting new evangelistic project in the IA-MO Conference. A creative one-room school teacher is needed.
NAD Elementary Certification is required. State certification would be helpful.
Experience: Applicants need to be self-motivated, able to think-outside-the-box and discipleship-minded to plant a school with the intention of growing a church. The community where the school will be planted will have a minimum population of 30,000, where growth can easily begin in both the church and the school.
We need a teacher who will focus on the evangelistic aspects of Christian education. Where programs, activities, and studies are designed to not only grow interest in the Seventh-day Adventist message for the students, but will cause the non-Adventist parents to come in contact with church members and the truths of the Bible. Everything needs to be planed with the idea of bringing people into the church. This project will only work with the right person who has a pioneer spirit and a willingness to try new things. If this sounds like the teaching position God has called you to, please contact the Superintendent of Education at the Iowa-Missouri Conference of Seventh-day Adventist as soon as you can.
