Teaching young people to make witnessing and service a central part of their lives is essential

to the educational goals of Seventh-day Adventist schools, and to the mission of the church.

Timeline Conditions

Each Academy will submit the name of a student eligible for the Caring Heart Award to their Union Office of Education by March 15.

The Union Directors of Education will forward the list of all award recipients to the North American Division Office of Education (NADOE) by April 1.

NADOE will prepare and send the Caring Heart Award scholorship certificates and plaques with the students' names to the union offices by May 1.

The schools receiving the $500 scholarship award should send the signed certificates to the NADOE, on behalf of the student, in exchange for a $500 check to be applied to tuition or a mission trip. Award certificates will be redeemable up to six (6) months from the date of issue.
